New Year, New Beginnings

new-beginnings-quote-1As I noted in one of my last Blogger posts of 2017, I’ve been looking high and low for a new blogging platform that better meets my needs and makes commenting accessible. I’ve tried out several different platforms with increasing frustration and find myself back here, to this blog that I originally created a few years back as a redirect to my blog on Blogger.  At this point I figure it’s worth another try to see if I can make sense of WordPress. When you’ve been doing something one way for ten or more years, adapting to a new method doesn’t come easy, but as in the case of the dinosaurs, we adapt or we die. And so, I shall begin again… here, and see how it goes. I’ve been more or less away from blogging for the past several months, and I’m ready to do some writing. Always begin again… pick up the pieces and start with what you have. I believe in that.

Author: Josie Two Shoes

I've been blogging off and on since August of 2006. I adopted the pen name Josie Two Shoes in 2007 as I began a new chapter of my life standing on my own two feet. Now I'm married to the man of my dreams; we live in dusty West Texas with a house full of furkids. I am an Aquarian by birth, and although I am past sixty and slightly frayed around the edges, my fascination with this thing called life continues. Faith, family, and friends are important to me; so are honesty, trust, tolerance, compassion and kindness. I'm pretty up front about most things, so if you want to know something more about me, just ask! :-) You can also reach me by email and find me at my Facebook page.

  1. Good policy!!! Now can you get me to restart?
I have to say I’ve had a lot more luck with WordPress once I got used to it than I did with other servers. I bookmarked you so I’ll be sure to be back! And hey look no problem with commenting! Awesomeness!
